XIN-DESIGN / As a graphic designer, with a visual communication background, I've always been thinking about ways to improve the relationship between people, between our natures, and the intertwining of those two universal elements. I am interested in finding better ways to help us preserve an emotionally-driven way of living, while also considering its sustainable and environmental benefits. In order to tackle those aims, I started my MA at Goldsmiths in 2010. By taking on a de-familiarising approach to daily life, and by reading a series of critical and philosophical books, I was compelled to realise that we are living in an alienated, conceptualised artificial world. I am therefore trying to give life to my concept through my design practice.
